The fellow pictured below is probably an ordinary tatted sleeve asian man to you. He may not have thousands of Instagram followers or celebrity status, but he has been a big influence on why I started effulgence. I stumbled upon Fongstarr's Myspace blog back in middle school and I was instantly inspired by this so called "streetwear lifestyle". After 8 years of communicating with Mr. Fong through e-mails and social media platforms for photoshop and design tips, it was nice to finally thank him in person at The Hundreds' SF Street Meet. The Hundreds' SF Street Meet was my first photo meet up event. We basically mobbed through the streets of Chinatown and loitered at spots longer than anyone anticipated as Bobby, Ben and Van Styles had their paparazzi moments. Chill vibrations all around though.
