The Dew Tour took over Civic Center Plaza in San Francisco this weekend and the best part was attendance was free! I wish I could write a better recap, but I only attended for one event, the skateboard street semifinals. Although it was free, it was hard to see and get good shots since the skatepark was elevated and the free bleachers were massively packed. The SF's course design was by far one of the best. They replicated many of the cities famous skate spots from Hubba Hideout, China Banks and Third & Army. Nyjah Houston was godly as always (ended up taking 1st place). He is a very flashy, yet consistent skater. It is always exciting to watch him skate since he constantly attacks the biggest sections of the park. Milton Martinez (ended up taking 4th place) was the surprise for me as he was literary landing every single trick he attempted. I ended up winning a free blank deck from rolling a skate wheel into a hole and Trukfit was handing out free (ugly) tees. Hopefully The Dew Tour comes back to the Bay!
