I'm not a sneakerhead, but I love dope design! I rarely splurge on materialistic items, but when my friend showed me previews of Nike's newest creation, I fell in love. At the time I was highly interested in Nike Roshes (still a future purchase for sure) and despite double the retail price, I had to get my hands on Nike's fly knits. I truly fell in love with Nike's newest sneaker technology. When your shoe is made out of recycled materials and reduced wastage in itself is amazing. But their Flywire technology is truly groundbreaking, as the upper of the shoe is made out of a single piece of synthetic fiber. I was already convinced when I saw a listed weight at 5.4 ozs! That's lighter than effulgence tees! Even when I picked up the UPS box I didn't think shoes were in there. I can't comment much on the comfort, but from just wearing them around the house, it was like feathers on your feet. Although the $150 price tag, I bought the future of running shoes. And best of all, wearing them makes you feel like an olympic athlete.
