DO IT FOR HIP-HOP

The UC Berkeley Students for Hip-Hop organized it's 15th Annual Hip-Hop In The Park. It's a free show with many local rappers, graffiti artists and breakdancers at Berk's famous People's Park. This was my second straight year attending and it definitely wasn't as good as last year. The energy wasn't there since they had to tone it down a notch due to complaints. The line-up was decent. Moe Green and Hopie Spitshard were my favorite acts by far. Probably because I was familiar with their material and actually rapped in a language I could understand. I was bummed that I missed the main act, Eligh of Living Legends, and heard he really rocked the crowd. Well lets see what's in store for next year!
