Five Guys Burgers and fries has been aggressively expanding their privately own chain here in California. Now with 770 of these burger joints around the nation, 12 in northern california, they plan on opening hundreds more around the state. Five Guys has won many awards and a few beating InNOut burger, which is definitely shocking in my book. One recently opened around my city so I had to taste the hype.
While waiting for your meal, they offer complimentary peanuts. It's nice touch to the Five Guys experience.
Hands down I prefer In-N-Out hamburgers. Say what you want, Five Guys isn't really anything special or unique. Standard everything. The fries are the best part of the meal, but may not be worth it. I read on Men's Health that their french fries are the 4th most unhealthiest food in America.
