Congratulations to Benny Gold on the upgrade of his flagship store. Mr. Gold moved from his small space on 21st street to a bigger retail spot on 16th street. There's was a small line when I arrived around noon. A lot of people in line got sidetracked on a huge protest and missed the revealing of the store (including myself). I thought the event was going to be much more festive, but I guess it was later after reading up on Benny's Twitter. The new space setup reminded me a lot like Huf SF's once skate shop. The Benny Gold line was stocked on the left, skate decks hung on the center walls, middle seating area and there was part of the Huf line stocked to the right. Overall great job with the shop and the new collection as well, can't wait to see the continue growth of Benny Gold.
