Last night I attended one of Johnny Cupcakes's college lectures at Cal State East Bay. After a big ordeal finding where the event was being held, I finally made it on time. But little did I know, the crowd went out the door to listen in on Johnny's story and the tips he had to offer for entrepreneurs. I learned so much from his 4 hour lecture and was a definite motivation booster to continue building up my own business ideas. I love Johnny's sense of humor from his poo poo jokes and his beard getting stuck to the microphone and how he still stays humble after creating a multimillion dollar business without a college education. But the greatest part of Johnny is his appreciation towards the fans and how much fun he puts into the company. A simple goodie bag for attending his lecture or adding miscellaneous items into each online order goes a long away for the customer. If he ever comes to your town, I highly recommend you to check it out even if you don't like Johnny Cupcakes. And by the way, effuhoodies are on the way. Coming out this month, I promise.
